Ruth asks…

Is it hard to get a job for the New Yorker? How do you get one?

I really would like to be a weekly columnist for the “New Yorker” in New York City.
I really like to write about relationship stuff. I even have a blog that you can visit http://hesnotworthyourtears.blogspot.com… where I do write weekly posts.

How hard would this be to get involved?

whats the pay like? Just curious, thanks!

Lukes Love Life answers:

I would think that to get a job at the New Yorker you would need a ton of experience.

You probably would have to work freelance for them before they give you a column. Getting a column in any publication can be hard to come by.

Richard asks…

Lukes Love Life answers:

If you have a 28 day cycle, Aug 12 will begin high fertility through Aug 17th being ovulation. I would baby dance starting Aug12th, then every other day (to build up sperm) and also on Aug 17th.That’s what I did with my cycle and it worked. Good luck!

Lizzie asks…

Do you have relationship trouble?

I have had relationship trouble, and I notice a lot of people do. I found this blog by a psychologist who specializes in family therapy. I signed up and he offered me advice on my relationship. I emailed him with a few problems and I kept getting answers as to what I should do. It was very helpful =]

But anyways, the point is, have you tried it? I want to know what the rest of you think of the service.

the place where I found the system is on this blog:

tell me what you guys think of it.

Lukes Love Life answers:

No I never used it–but the major issues in relationships are failure to communicate and lack of respect–it is real easy to feel that you have reached the point where everything is where it should be–in fact a successful relationship grows everyday-there is no finishing line–both people work at it and remember–your relationship is the most important thing in your lives. Not work, not the bills, not anything—learn to devote equal time to each task and then put it all aside and make time for yourselves. Relax, smile, talk, see how the other partner is doing—that is communicatyions. Twender love comes naturally when the relationship is happy and smooth. When pressure and stress overcomes the relationship–the harmony suffers. Learn to share the good times and the bad–everyone has good and bad—you are a team and everything should be a team effort. Women are emotional creatures–remember that–men are easily amused and that is a good thing to remember too. Don’t forget to allow for private time–everybody needs a little private time–their own space and their own interests–do not ever overshadow your partner. Speak nice–never yell–fights are counter productive–take a break before the arguement gets out of hand. Am I far off from the advice this guy sent you??
