Anyone know facts about painter Giotto’s relationship with Dante Alighieri?
I’m working on an expo on Giotto for a dante class and I need to know if anyone knows about the relationship between the two. I know Dante metnions him in his divine comedy.

In my studies on Dante I have not come across anything that would suggest they knew each other personally. Yet, they did live in a relatively small city (perhaps around 200,000) compared to those of our own day, and you know from experience how small a city of 1,000,000+ can feel today (viz. 6 degrees of separation), so I imagine they knew of one another.
Now, if you’re taking Dante’s reference to Giotto in the DC as being something meaningful (in terms of their relationship), you’re making the wrong assumption. Dante wrote about many famous people in his DC for the sake of making his poem more relevant to his own time and more intriguing to posterity. Giotto was certainly a famous painter at the time.
If you’d like to find out for sure, pick up a copy of Mark Musa’s translation of the DC. He has excellent endnotes on every chapter. If you can find the passage where Giotto is mentioned, you’ll probably find an endnote that explains Dante’s relationship to him (if any).

What material facts would you NEED to know about a person before embarking on an online relationship?
This question arose from watching an Ally Mc Beal episode where a man was sued by a woman for not revealing the material fact that he was a little person. This fact would not bother some people, but it would bother others.
so I’m just wondering… what facts would you like to know about someone you met online before embarking on a relationship?

You cannot have a true meaningful relationship on the computer.
You HAVE to meet and date in person. It’s the only way to truly know who you are talking to on the other side of your monitor.
The “facts” you need to know, are the “facts” you need to know about any guy you date, computer relationship or not.
Are they a good person?
Do they lie?
Are they religious or not?
Do they make money and have a job or not?
Do they have a decent place to live?
Are they messy or neat?
What are their political affiliations or beliefs?
What is their education level?
How old are they?
Do they want to eventually get married or not?
Do they want to eventually have kids or not?
What is their family like?
Do they have the same values, morals and ethics that you do?
Are you attracted to them or not?
Does your personality clash with theirs or is it complimentary?
And about a million more “facts” to choose from…

When u r obese u feel low self esteem . U feel ur a failure cuz u cant control ur self. There are so many things in life u cant do , u r not healthy.u feel ugly

Let’s start with the basics. Values; Worth in usefulness or importance to the possessor; utility or merit: the value of an education.
A principle, standard, or quality considered worthwhile or desirable.
Facts;
Knowledge or information based on real occurrences: an account based on fact; a blur of fact and fancy.
Something demonstrated to exist or known to have existed: Genetic engineering is now a fact. That Chaucer was a real person is an undisputed fact.
A real occurrence; an event: had to prove the facts of the case.
Facts may state that a person has committed an offense by standing in the way of a demolishion crew from destroying a piece of property, but values may state that the demolishion of such property, is wrong because of religious or ecological value. Values are taught, and hold a strong belief in the persons that are effected by the events that are put before them. Values held by many in the civil rights era held true to the fact that, the color of ones skin does not affect the way they should be treated, even though, the law or ( fact ) said otherwise.
