How to seize this guy who I met through online dating service?
We met through an online dating service. We have exchanged about 15 emails (very long ones) so far. We went out for dinner last weekend. He is not hot by any means, but very intelligent and considerate. I really like him and want this to turn into a relationship. However, I am not sure how to approach this. He seems to be interested but has not been very assertive. I want to talk to him more, but I don’t want to be seen as desperate or anything. What should I do? Help!!!

I did it for a year and a half and have a bf now that i met online and we r going strong. The best thing i can say is make the first few meetings (or dates, whatever u want to call them) in a public place to keep it fairly casual and comfortable. Also hold out on sex unless u want to lose the person within a week, id say wait until ur pretty sure they r into u and want some sort of relationship to work. Also, knowing what u want in a partner is important. I had alot of problems with compromising religions and it hurt when guys would think they were ok with it then a month later decide they werent

The traditional way hasn’ t worked for me and since I don’t want to have kids its kind of hard for me to find a serious long term guy to be in a relationship with. My relationship has been so rocky..i want all ur opinions..please, he was on an online dating site this week?
we’ve been together for a few months and i feel like he isn’t into me as much as he used to be..and when i tried to talk to him about it he got really mad and I don’t know..we met online and we just clicked when we met back in january and i know it sounds stalkerish but I looked at his account today and it said he was on in the past week. So now I am royally pissed and I don’t know if i should confront him or not..i’m seeing him on friday, how should I act?? it’s been so damn rocky and he says he loves me and everything but i feel like he isn’t into me anymore cause we don’t have as much sex and I’m not feelin that he wants me or something. It’s mixed feelings I’m gettin from him. I don’t know what’s wrong with him..please help me what should I do? what can I do to restore those old feelings back and have us stop arguing? The more you push for an answer, the more pi55y he?l get.
One thing you could do, (although it is emotionally risky) is just to disappear from his life unannounced for a little while so that if he wants you, he´ll realise he´s missing you and get his act together.
Spend more time with all those friends you´ve been neglecting, that way if things do crash and burn (and I really hope they won´t) you?l still have some sort of life to go back to and some support.

Well I met a boy online and now he’s my bf.
I love him to death and we have exchanged names, phone #’s, pictures, and he’s given me his address but i haven’t given him mine. We’ve been dating for 6 months and his family knows about me, but mine does not yet. Should I give him my home address, I want to but i feel sorta guilty without telling my family first. What should I do?
Yeah well we talked on the phone alot, i never have met him in person yet.
He only wants my address because he gave me his and he really wants to know.
I mean He really does love me and i know he isn’t some stalker for sure.
Plus he lives in another state.
Well like i said his family knows, and ive talked to his mom before and they really like me.
No he’s not faking because he’s sent me many pictures and all look the same person and his voice seems to match his look.
The only reason I’ve been putting off telling my parents is because i don’t want them to not approve.
Because they could get mad of something. But I do wanna tell them but i’m not even sure how to, and my bf really wants me to tell them.
Well I dont plan on meeting him in person anytime soon.

Tell your parents about him NOW! Why are you not telling your family? Is it because he told you not to or because you know you are making a bad decision?
I know this isnt what you want to hear, but you are being really foolish w/this whole thing..i understand kids having big crushes and all , but in this day and age you dont trust someone you’ve never met…and yea, i know, but he loves you…..he’s never met you..you are mistaking a big crush for the word love!
