I have a serious few questions to ask about my relationship, with my boyfriend.????
We are both in our late 40′s and early 50′s, if that matters. Here are the issues that we have and he does not understand how I feel. Please take these seriously, as I am going to share what you write. We have been dating for 7 years, no children.
1. My guy has an ongoing “friends” relationship with his ex-wife. As friends, they sometimes go out together. Recently, he went with to a basketball game, with her, on a Saturday night and can’t see why I am bothered, by that?
2. He has never introduced me to his ex, or invited me out with any of his friends. I am not sure his friends, even know I exist, as he went out with them once, (2 other couples…and a woman for him, also.)
3. He does not take me around his family, or anyone, really. He has been with my parents, family, co-workers and friends.
4. He has lied to me about his plans, in the past, as he says he doesn’t want a “hassle,” from me.
Do you see how I could feel “less” than a couple, after 7 years??

Sounds fishy. I have nothing wrong with your husband going out with your ex, they can still be friends, you can’t stop that. What bothers me is the fact that you can’t meet her, or any of his friends or family for that matter. Tell him it means a lot to you to meet his family and friends and the people he loves.
If he’s not willing to do that, i don’t think i would be happy in that relationship. A bit like a caged animal kept from prying eyes eh?
Talk to him first though, voice your feelings again. Tell him that even if he cant see it from your perspective, the fact that it’s important to you, should be enough for him to take notice.

Lol you can ask anything you’ve been interested in knowing about him! You could ask (the obvious) Name, age, hair color, eye color, etc. If you want to know more personal things about him, his favorite color, his birthday, his star sign (if you cant figure it out), his favorite music, what he likes in a girl…etc! Anything you’ve ever been asked in a quiz or a magazine. OR you could go on an online one/buy a magazine and just ask random questions. Its up to you, how you are, how he is, etc. Have fun!
